ICU Registered Nurse - Rapid Response (Night Shift)

Location: North Charleston, SC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 19:00 - 07:00, 3 - 12 hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our Rapid Response team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and will be comfortable managing ventilated patients while providing exceptional bedside care. This role includes patient handoff via bedside shift report, and involvement in advanced procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Care for up to 1-3 ICU patients with a focus on high-acuity cases.
• Administer advanced treatments including CRRT, and manage advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
• Perform necessary procedures including post-operative care for CABG, use of ventilators, and neuro procedures.
• Utilize Meditech for documentation and reporting.
• Participate in floating assignments as needed to ensure patient care standards are met.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 36 months of RN experience, including at least 1 year in an ICU setting.
• Previous travel nursing experience, preferably in a Meditech facility.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.
• Proficient in reading telemetry strips and administering respiratory treatments.
• BSN preferred; advanced certifications (TNCC) are a plus.
