AER Systems is not for everyone.

We run prevailing wage work in San Diego. That means journeymen on our crew earn around $90/hour. We offer a 401(k). We do not provide medical benefits — at this pay level, you can secure your own coverage and still come out ahead of most jobs in this market.

We are a young, growing mechanical contractor with high standards, a documented career path, and a backlog of real work. We know exactly where we are going and we are selective about who comes with us.

What the role is:

You will install commercial and residential HVAC systems — split systems, package units, RTUs, mini-splits, ductwork, refrigerant piping — to a standard we take seriously. You will work under a Site Lead, alongside a crew that holds itself accountable, on projects that matter to real clients.

The work is physically demanding. The expectations are high. The environment will challenge you.

That is the point.

What you need:

• Journeyman-level HVAC installation experience — you have done this, you are good at it, and you can prove it
• EPA 608 Universal Certification
• Valid California driver's license
• The ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• A work history that reflects someone who stays, builds, and grows — not someone who leaves when something shinier shows up
