SWPPP Business Development Manager

Our client is an established stormwater services provider supporting developers, homebuilders, general contractors, municipalities, and MUDs throughout Texas. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a SWPPP Business Development Manager to help expand their presence across the Greater Houston region. The Role This is a client-facing seller-doer position focused on developing new business opportunities, strengthening existing relationships, and supporting the continued growth of turnkey stormwater compliance services. The successful candidate will serve as a key representative of the company within the Houston development and construction community while working closely with operations and field teams to ensure successful project delivery. Typical responsibilities include: Developing relationships with developers, homebuilders, general contractors, engineering firms, municipalities, and MUDs Managing and expanding existing client accounts Identifying and securing new project opportunities Supporting proposals, estimating efforts, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations Attending client meetings, pre-construction meetings, networking events, and industry functions Acting as a trusted advisor for stormwater compliance and erosion control solutions Coordinating with internal operations, inspection, and field teams to ensure client expectations are met Tracking opportunities and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline Supporting long-term strategic growth initiatives throughout the Houston market The organization provides turnkey stormwater services including: Stormwater Quality Inspections MUD-Related Stormwater Maintenance and Compliance Support What They're Looking For 3+ years of experience within the stormwater, SWPPP, erosion control, construction compliance, environmental consulting, or related industries Experience working with developers, builders, contractors, municipalities, MUDs, or engineering firms Strong relationship-building and communication skills Understanding of stormwater compliance requirements and industry best practices Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships Preferred Experience Existing relationships within the Houston development, construction, or stormwater market Experience attending MUD meetings or working with municipal utility districts Experience with SWPPP compliance, stormwater inspections, erosion control, or BMP implementation Seller-doer experience within a technical or service-based environment Compensation Competitive base salary (flexible based on experience and business development capability) Performance-based incentive opportunity Candidates with strong industry relationships, business development experience, and stormwater expertise are highly encouraged to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr Core Group USA
