Area Sales Manager - DACH

Sirio is looking for a motivated and customer‑oriented Area Sales Manager (m/w/d) - Dietary Supplements & Pharmaceuticals (DACH) to strengthen our commercial team in the DACH region. In this role, you will support the development of existing customer relationships while actively contributing to new business opportunities across our portfolio of dietary supplements and pharmaceutical products. Working closely with international colleagues, you will accompany customer projects from the initial inquiry through to successful implementation and contribute to achieving our ambitious growth targets. This position is based in Germany and can be performed remotely. Regular business travel within the DACH region, as well as occasional international travel, is required. The Role/Responsibilities: Manage and develop existing customer relationships within the assigned sales territory Support the identification and development of new customer projects and product launches across Sirio's full product portfolio, including softgels, gummies, and other dosage forms Contribute to the achievement of annual sales and commercial objectives Collaborate closely with internal Sales teams across Europe and China to ensure the successful execution of customer projects Continuously monitor market and competitor developments in collaboration with the Marketing team, with a particular focus on new products, formulations, and industry trends Actively support new business development and build a sustainable network within the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries Manage existing customer accounts using a consultative sales approach Support contract negotiations and commercial agreements in collaboration with experienced colleagues and internal stakeholders Prepare customer‑specific proposals and quotations in cooperation with Supply Chain, Research & Development (R&D), and Quality Management Represent Sirio at trade fairs, conferences, and industry events to strengthen existing relationships and generate new business opportunities Contribute to the identification of new market opportunities and business potential Support the planning and coordination of ongoing customer projects Analyse relevant sales KPIs to support sales performance, business planning, and continuous improvement Profile/Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related discipline 3–5 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Account Management, ideally within the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, CDMO/CMO, or life sciences industry Proven ability to build long‑term customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to commercial growth Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels Strong commercial mindset with a customer‑focused approach and the ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions Interest in oral dosage forms, dietary supplements, and market trends, with the willingness to continuously develop industry knowledge Self‑motivated, proactive, and results‑oriented, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross‑functional and international teams Structured, organised, and reliable working style, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM systems is an advantage Fluency in both German and English is essential , both written and spoken; additional European language skills are an advantage Willingness to travel regularly within the DACH region and occasionally internationally We Offer: Ongoing training and professional development opportunities A positive and collaborative work environment Flexible working hours and hybrid working models supporting a healthy work–life balance An international company environment with colleagues from around the world #J-18808-Ljbffr SIRIO Europe
