AR Follow Up Specialist
Virtual Vocations Inc
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the AR Follow Up Specialist will manage unresolved insurance claims, conduct research on claim issues, and ensure timely payments while adhering to a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key responsibilities Following up on unresolved claims and checking claim status with insurance carriers Identifying reasons for non-payment and taking appropriate actions to resolve issues Managing patient balances as assigned and performing various special projects as needed Required qualifications 2+ years of A/R follow-up (Insurance Collections) experience is required Medical billing experience is helpful, with a preference for hospital claims and healthcare receivables experience Prior office experience emphasizing problem solving and research Ability to summarize important details concisely in account notes Familiarity with computer systems and the ability to work independently
