Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (Travel Contract)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in a high-volume Operating Room specializing in Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures within a Level One Trauma Center environment
• Demonstrate competency in advanced procedures including PCNLs, Nephrectomies, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, and Ureteroscopies
• Operate and assist with robotic-assisted surgery using the Da Vinci Xi robotic system
• Provide scrub tech support across a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
• Participate in weekend rotation (1:4 weekends) and fulfill on-call obligations including overnight trauma call (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and specialty team call as assigned
• Work proficiently with equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot platforms; document using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Level One Trauma Center experience required
• Demonstrated competency in Gynecology and Genitourinary surgical procedures
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress operating room environment and function as a collaborative team member

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedic Trauma, Orthopedic Joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, or Endovascular procedures
• 3 or more years of Level One Trauma experience
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and robotic-assisted surgical platforms
• Flexible, accountable, punctual, and team-oriented work style
