CNC Maintenance Technician

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience maintaining and repairing CNC machine tools
- Proficiency in operating CNC lathes and mills
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on industrial machinery
- Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and machine manuals
- Hands-on familiarity with CNC control systems such as Okuma OSP and Fanuc controls
- Knowledge of Swiss-type or sliding headstock machines including Nomura equipment
- Experience managing machine maintenance programs and spare parts inventories
- Preferred: background working with OEM technicians and warranty repair processes
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on CNC equipment
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and machine calibration tasks to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and service CNC control systems, ensuring system reliability
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, service logs, and spare parts inventories
- Support manufacturing operations by operating CNC lathes and mills and coordinating complex repairs with service providers
