Work Environment\n

This position is designed for licensed professionals who value flexibility and autonomy in their practice. While you will primarily work remotely, your role is rooted in a supportive community health clinic environment that emphasizes teamwork and continuous learning. Our clinic operates from 7 AM to 10 PM seven days a week, allowing for flexible scheduling that accommodates both clinician and patient needs. In addition, our support team is dedicated to managing client services and scheduling, ensuring you can focus on providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological and emotional needs of patients.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and strategies for resilience and self-empowerment.

• Provide evidence-based interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting techniques as needed to suit individual clients.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma, fostering coping strategies, and promoting emotional healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, employing calm and effective responses during high-stress situations.
\n
• Educate both patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with research and best practices in trauma therapy, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LPC in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
