Senior Property Accountant

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a fast-growing Real Estate company located in Boston, MA, is in search of a Senior Property Accountant.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Manage cash activity, receivables, and financial reporting processes
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages
• Review operating expenses, budgets, and financial performance
• Interpret contracts and ensure compliance with key agreements
• Monitor financing obligations and support compliance reporting
• Coordinate distributions and maintain stakeholder reporting
• Partner with operations teams to resolve issues and improve reporting accuracy
• Support due diligence requests, audits, and external service providers
• Meet reporting deadlines and assist with special projects as needed

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with property, asset, or investment accounting processes is a plus
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• Ability to learn new systems and industry-specific software
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
