Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients and develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique circumstances.

• Collaborate closely with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals and regularly monitor and reassess their progress throughout the treatment process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in adherence to regulatory standards managed through the SimplePractice system, ensuring compliance with privacy laws.

• Facilitate coordination of care by actively engaging with other healthcare professionals and community resources to provide comprehensive support to clients.

• Stay current with developments in the field of mental health counseling through ongoing education and training to enhance your clinical skills.

• Participate in regular marketing initiatives such as updating your Psychology Today profile to enhance visibility and attract potential clients.

• Attend weekly case review meetings to share insights, receive feedback, and contribute to the team’s continuous improvement efforts in delivering high-quality mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Legacy Counseling, you will primarily work with clients experiencing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and ADHD. Your expertise will be pivotal in helping these individuals explore their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and foster resilience to overcome obstacles in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling or a related field is required to ensure thorough understanding and application of therapeutic practices.

• Candidates must hold a current Pennsylvania state license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide licensed clinical services.

• At least three years of experience in providing counseling services, with preference given to those with background in clinical settings or outpatient practices.
