The clinic is one of the busier locations, requiring strong multitasking skills, reliability, and the ability to balance patient interactions, phone calls, and administrative responsibilities throughout the day.

* Tuesday: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM
* Wednesday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
* Thursday: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM
* Friday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

*About the Role*
The Patient Service Specialist is responsible for creating a positive patient experience while managing front desk operations at a busy physical therapy clinic. This role involves patient registration, appointment scheduling, answering phones, maintaining patient records within the EMR system, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and can effectively multitask between patients, providers, and administrative tasks.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Greet patients and perform check-in and check-out procedures
* Register patients and maintain accurate demographic information
* Schedule appointments and follow-up visits
* Answer inbound phone calls and assist patients with inquiries
* Document patient and provider information within the EMR system
* Support insurance verification and patient account activities
* Assist with Medicaid and prior authorization processes
* Provide outstanding customer service to patients and visitors
* Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to support daily operations
*Required Skills & Experience*
* Previous front desk, receptionist, or patient service experience
* Experience with patient registration and scheduling
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Experience working with computers and EMR systems
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable attendance and strong organizational skills
* Healthcare or medical office experience preferred
