We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations for a growing team in Indiana. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both payables and receivables while maintaining accurate financial records. The person in this role will contribute to timely transaction processing, organized documentation, and reliable accounting support across routine business activities.

Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and enter payment details accurately into accounting records.
• Manage accounts payable activities by reviewing bills, tracking due dates, and helping ensure payments are completed on schedule.
• Support accounts receivable functions by preparing customer invoices, posting payments, and following up on outstanding balances when needed.
• Perform high-volume data entry with strong attention to accuracy, consistency, and proper record maintenance.
• Maintain financial information in QuickBooks and update account details to reflect current transactions.
• Reconcile billing and payment records to identify discrepancies and assist with resolving issues promptly.
• Organize and maintain accounting files, invoices, and related documentation for easy retrieval and audit readiness.• Prior experience in an accounting support or clerical finance role.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Hands-on experience using QuickBooks in a detail-focused setting.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience processing invoices and maintaining organized financial documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
