Pharmacy Tech - Milan, Ohio

Seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient hospital pharmacy operations with a focus on accurate medication dispensing and sterile compounding. This contract-to-hire opportunity in Milan, OH offers a structured 7 on/7 off schedule working nights from 9 PM to 7 AM, typically Thursday through Thursday, for a 13-week assignment with the potential for permanent placement.


Responsibilities include:

• Accurately entering medication orders using Meditech system
• Managing medication inventory and dispensing through Pyxis automation
• Preparing sterile compounded medications in compliance with protocols
• Collaborating closely with pharmacy staff and clinical teams to ensure safe patient medication management
• Maintaining compliance with hospital and regulatory standards

Qualifications and experience required:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician license
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
• Proven inpatient pharmacy experience
• Proficiency in sterile compounding techniques
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with Pyxis automation systems
