Work Environment

This position is set in a home care environment, allowing you to deliver therapy services directly in patients' residences. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including detailed assessments of their medical history, mobility levels, and physical conditions, to determine the best course of treatment.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises and activities tailored to each patient's goals and needs.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques, exercise prescriptions, and assistive devices to facilitate patient rehabilitation and improve strength, flexibility, and function.
• Monitor and document patient progress through regular evaluations, adjusting treatment protocols as needed to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, self-management techniques, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and prevent further injury.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries, as well as those managing chronic conditions or disabilities that affect their physical function. This may include individuals dealing with post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis, and movement disorders. Your role is critical in ensuring each patient not only regains their strength but also learns to navigate their recovery journey with confidence and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, combined with an understanding of orthopedic principles.
• The ability to effectively communicate with patients, family members, and interdisciplinary team members, providing empathetic and clear guidance during the treatment process.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
