As a full-time member of our rehabilitation center, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of our patients through tailored orthopedic interventions. This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.

Work Environment

Located in Mc David, Florida, our rehabilitation center is designed with the patient experience in mind. This onsite role allows for direct interaction with patients, enabling you to build rapport and tailor rehabilitation plans that meet their unique needs. With a structured schedule Monday through Friday, from either 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., you will have the opportunity to balance a rewarding career with personal life commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific orthopedic needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including muscle re-education, gait training, and functional training, using the latest evidence-based techniques.
• Guide patients through active and passive exercises and assist with activities of daily living, ensuring a comprehensive approach to their rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and ongoing care strategies to promote autonomy and recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care and to refine treatment approaches based on patient progress.
• Utilize specialized techniques such as massage, stretching, and therapeutic modalities to manage and reduce pain effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of patients seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic issues, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your ability to connect with patients empathically will significantly impact their healing journey, providing support and reassurance as they work towards regaining their mobility and strength.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active State Physical Therapy license, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards of care.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient physical therapy, specifically in orthopedics.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients and team members.
• Strong clinical assessment capabilities and proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred to enhance the quality of care provided to our patients.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus, facilitating seamless documentation and communication.
