Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Saint Helena, California. Start date 08/17/2026 for a 13-week contract on a 3x12-hour day shift. Weekly pay range: $1,687 to $1,810 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Setting: short-term acute care hospital ER. This travel opportunity includes ongoing assignment support and professional collaboration in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients in the ER according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Assess patients, analyze data, identify diagnoses, and develop an individualized plan of care
- Implement care plans, coordinate delivery, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote safety and healing
- Monitor patient progress, respond to changes, administer medications and treatments as appropriate, and document care accurately
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate tasks and coordinate duties
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families to support continuity of care

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice (California)
- BLS or equivalent CPR certification required
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS required; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS required
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS required
- CPI/TEAM or TEAM-A, or equivalent aggression-management training required
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS required
- NIH Stroke certification required
- BSN preferred; acute care facility experience preferred
- At least two years of recent ER/acute care experience; five years preferred; will consider less based on patient care experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Must meet facility-specific vaccination and credentialing requirements
