About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief of Clinical Operations and Community Services to provide executive leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for its community mental health services program. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accessible, and person-centered behavioral health services for individuals with a range of mental health and developmental challenges. This role involves overseeing direct clinical services, access operations, and community-based services, with a focus on integrated and financially sustainable care. The Deputy Chief will also be involved in executive leadership activities, including advising on clinical operations, workforce capacity, and emerging community needs, as well as collaborating on organizational planning and system transformation. Candidates for the Deputy Chief position must have a Master's degree or higher in a relevant clinical or healthcare discipline, current Michigan clinical licensure, and a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in behavioral healthcare or healthcare administration. The role requires at least 5 years of management experience, including responsibility for clinical operations and departmental leadership. Experience in budget management, operational performance improvement, and regulatory compliance is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Michigan Mental Health Code, Medicaid behavioral health service requirements, and experience with clinical supervision and continuous quality improvement. The Deputy Chief will also be expected to demonstrate the core competencies of integrity, customer focus, continuous learning, high work standards, and effective communication.
