Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to deliver care from the comfort of your home while still adhering to standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our telehealth platform utilizes secure technology to facilitate seamless and confidential interactions with clients, ensuring that they receive high-quality support without the need for in-person visits.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of clients’ mood disorder symptoms, delivering insights that inform treatment strategies.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans that encompass their unique goals and therapeutic preferences, ensuring a tailored approach to mental wellness.

• Deliver evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to assist clients in managing their mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.

• Monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to reflect evolving needs, and documenting these changes accurately in compliance with best practices.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for our clients, facilitating communication and shared understanding of treatment goals.

• Stay informed on the latest research and treatment modalities for mood disorders, enhancing your clinical practice and ensuring that clients benefit from contemporary approaches.

• Maintain detailed, confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring transparency and adherence to ethical standards required in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on individuals experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Clients may come from diverse backgrounds, bringing unique challenges and perspectives that enrich the therapeutic process. As a counselor, you will play a critical role in helping clients navigate their emotional landscapes, fostering resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities effective for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

• Proven success in achieving positive treatment outcomes for clients facing mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds and experiences.
