The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Holt seeking Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accurate coding and proper authorization for payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs (ACH, wire, checks).
- Generate and distribute customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to terms.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on overdue accounts.
- Apply customer payments and resolve any payment discrepancies.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger reconciliations.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls.
- Certification in accounting software or relevant professional organizations (e.g., APA, ARMA).
