Music Producer / Audio Engineer for Generative Music AI Evaluation

Assess outputs from generative music models in Hindi, scoring and annotating audio and lyrical samples for musicality, technical quality, and adherence to prompts while working with a leading AI research partner.

• Listen to and evaluate AI-generated music and lyrics across multiple musical categories in Hindi.
• Rate paired samples head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production and mix quality, using audio engineering terminology.
• Score the quality of musical training data used to develop models.
• Annotate songs in detail using a structured taxonomy, including genre and sub-genre classification, song structure, and vocal and instrumental characteristics.
• Write or assess lyrical music in the domain language listed in the title.
• Follow directions provided in English and complete annotation tasks according to given guidelines.

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, sound mixer, or similar role.
• College degree in music with coursework or experience in performance, music theory, and lyrics.
• Demonstrable understanding of musical performance, theory, and lyric writing, shown via portfolio or past work.
• Past experience writing lyrical music in Hindi.
• Native or near-native proficiency in both Hindi and English, with the ability to understand instructions in English.

• Hourly engagement, part-time.
• Estimated commitment: 10+ hours per week.
• Start date: Immediate.
• Project duration: Up to 6 months.

• Pay rate: 9.63 - 17.33 hourly.
