Work Environment

This role is based in an onsite hospital setting, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment among healthcare providers. The clinic thrives on teamwork, where you will work alongside an experienced group of OB/GYNs and Advanced Practice Clinicians. You will enjoy a structured work schedule of five days a week, totaling 40 hours, without any on-call responsibilities, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own patient panel, catering to a diverse group of obstetric and gynecologic patients.
• Provide direct support to physicians by handling overflow patients, ensuring seamless patient care.
• Conduct a wide range of procedures, including IUD and Nexplanon insertions, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, as well as women's wellness exams and colposcopies, depending on your training.
• Collaborate with a dedicated Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) council focused on enhancing clinical practices and supporting professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant in our OB/GYN specialty clinic, you will serve a varied patient population, including women seeking routine exams, prenatal care, and specialized gynecological treatments. Qualifications

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from a nationally recognized board.
• An unrestricted state medical license to practice in Nevada.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is required as a condition of employment, complying with all federal and state requirements.
• Graduation from an accredited Master’s degree program in Physician Assistant studies.
• Hands-on experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology is necessary to provide the best outcomes for our patients.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically training in EPIC EMR, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated skills in critical thinking, effective communication, time management, active listening, and decision-making will set you apart.
