Family First Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) to join our dynamic team in Norfolk, Virginia. Work Environment

Our Norfolk-based outpatient office fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere where our team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) work closely together. Operating Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, our workspace is structured to promote teamwork while allowing for individualized patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' specific goals and functional requirements.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused, quality care.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based approaches that enhance range of motion and mobility.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to reduce pain and improve functional outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients to set achievable recovery milestones and motivate them throughout their treatment journey.
• Design and instruct tailored fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, monitor progress, and modify care plans as necessary.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment processes accurately to maintain transparent communication with interdisciplinary healthcare providers.
• Engage and consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Hold a valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.

• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, to streamline documentation and enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive care plans and fitness programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience in promoting health and wellness initiatives that contribute to improved patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
