The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Holland that are seeking skilled Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, collaborating with procurement and vendors.
- Generate customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging, proactively follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve collection issues.
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and other electronic disbursements.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and journal entries related to AP/AR.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies accurately and efficiently.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with an ERP system like SAP or Oracle.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Knowledge of lien waivers and certified payroll.
- Familiarity with sales and use tax regulations.
