This position is designed for a remote setting, enabling you to connect with patients through our telehealth platform. You will be expected to maintain a professional and secure virtual environment, ensuring confidentiality and providing seamless support. Regular work hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a stable work-life balance while addressing the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental and emotional health status, including initial evaluations that inform treatment plans.

• Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient progress.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions that focus on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based practices and coping strategies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health and trauma coping mechanisms to empower them in their recovery journey.
\n
• Provide resources and referrals to social, medical, and community service agencies, ensuring holistic support for each patient.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional development and remain current with best practices in mental health counseling, including completing continuing education courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly focus on patients who have experienced trauma, including but not limited to injuries from accidents, domestic violence, and other distressing life events. You will provide a safe and confidential space for these individuals to share their experiences and work toward recovery, employing a compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with trauma patients is essential for success in this role.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; experience with Salesforce is a significant advantage.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits\n
