Immediate opening for a Maintenance Project Coordinator in San Diego, CA who possesses:
- 2-3+ years of experience as a Maintenance or Project Coordinator (Real Estate or heavy Construction industry preferred).
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field).
- Strong experience managing project budgets, estimates/bids, and vendor/contractor relations.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and overall tech-savviness.
FULL DESCRIPTION:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Updating maintenance project notes, tracking project lists, and walking property to review projects and assess repair needs.
- Coordinating work orders with team members, vendors, architects, engineers, inspectors, and site subcontractors.
- Managing the estimates and bids process, tracking costs, and assisting in managing project budgets.
- Writing RFPs, contracts, and purchase orders using standard company language to document work schedules, projected costs, and technical specifications.
- Assisting the Maintenance Manager with tracking the productivity of work orders and overall maintenance department needs.
- Participating in project meetings, implementing schedules, and documenting technical, financial, and personnel aspects of projects.
- Reviewing project drawings, specifications, submittals, and change orders.
- Providing field support to ensure contract compliance, quality control, and maintenance of a safe work site.
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Knowledge of basic business principles sufficient to project and monitor expenses.
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering/architectural drawings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail, and top-notch organizational skills.
- Strong team-player orientation and customer service mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Salary Range: $24.00 to $27.00/hour
