Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This position starts as soon as possible and runs through Thanksgiving break, with the potential for expanded hours or future placements at neighboring districts for the full school year.

You'll work approximately 20 hours per week, splitting your time between two welcoming elementary school sites. As a vital member of the special education team, you'll provide direct therapy, assessments, and tailored interventions to help young learners build essential skills for independence and academic success. Collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families will be key as you create an inclusive, adaptable environment for every child.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy license, or eligibility to practice in the state
• Previous experience working in school or pediatric settings is preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Well-organized with the flexibility to serve at multiple sites
• Commitment to fostering students’ functional and academic growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary students
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services as specified in IEPs
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in meetings
• Advise staff and families on accommodations and strategies for student success
• Travel between two school sites as assigned
