Financial analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst / SAS Analyst to join our Structured Finance and Trust Administration team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex legal contracts, data analytics, and operational compliance. You will be responsible for monitoring pooled loans, evaluating servicer performance, interpreting legal documents, and developing robust End-User Computing Tools (EUCTs) to automate and optimize our financial models. Responsibilities

Providing remittance and correction information to servicers; Monitoring of pooled loans to determine non-compliance; Communication of information to investors and servicers; Evaluate servicer performance and review servicer reports to ensure accuracy of data represented and compliance with stated agreements, account balances, new advance balances, receivables balances, report upload times, number of fundings, etc.; Interacting with other departments as needed; Research and interpret all controlling legal documents as issues arise with collateral or bond payments; Creating EndUser Computing Tools (EUCTs such as Excel spreadsheets, code/instructions for Access databases, etc.) at deal inception by translating terms in legal contracts to formulas, as well as managing and developing the EUCTs throughout the life of the deal; Conduct internal processes by maintaining a working knowledge of their area of expertise and duties that include Collateral, Securities, Default or Trust Administration; Follow established procedures and use appropriate EUCTs for all processes; Identify and communicate enhancements or process improvements that are relevant across individual facilities; Participating in system enhancements by attending user group and individual testing.
