The Wellcure Mental Therapeutic Clinic is seeking dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) to join our remote team. This full-time position allows you to provide essential therapeutic services to diverse clients throughout Gilbert, Arizona, and beyond. We value flexibility and have urgent openings, particularly for therapists who are bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese, as we aim to deliver culturally competent care to our varied client base.

Although primarily conducted via teletherapy, there may also be opportunities for in-community therapy sessions as you engage with families directly in their homes or within community settings. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Wellcure, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual and family therapy sessions either remotely or in person, adapting methods to meet clients' unique needs.
\n
• Implementing therapeutic interventions for clients struggling with anger management, coping strategies, and social skills development, focusing on reducing high-risk behaviors such as self-injury and aggression.

• Assisting caregivers and adolescents in enhancing decision-making skills to manage behavioral issues effectively.
\n
• Collaborating with the Child Family Treatment Team, engaging with various professionals dedicated to the well-being of our clients and ensuring a cohesive treatment plan.
\n
• Maintaining organized documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
\n
• Participating in monthly meetings, contributing insights for continuous program improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse population of children and adolescents aged 3-20 who are facing developmental challenges and cognitive impairments. You will support families navigating the complexities of intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them develop skills to enhance their everyday functioning and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a closely related field.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, ideally during after-school hours (4-7 PM), with flexibility for weekends as needed.

• Experience in providing positive behavior support and an understanding of developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Preferred Experience\n

Additional experience that is beneficial for this position includes:

• Working with a diverse range of children, particularly those experiencing intellectual or developmental disabilities.

• Utilizing therapeutic modalities which may include play therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and family systems therapy.

• A valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle for home-based sessions, if applicable.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
