Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, using diagnostic criteria to inform treatment approaches. Provide individual, group, and family therapy, employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to each client’s unique context. Offer immediate crisis intervention to clients facing acute emotional distress, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning strategies. Document treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments thoroughly and confidentially, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements. Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary teams, sharing insights and coordinating care to provide clients with holistic treatment options. Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, available resources, and coping strategies, empowering them with knowledge and support. Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic methodologies and mental health trends. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will primarily focus on a varied clientele that includes individuals seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships among many other mental health issues. You will have the opportunity to work with different demographics, ensuring that care is culturally competent and sensitive to the unique backgrounds and challenges faced by our clients. Qualifications Active and valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) in California. Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related discipline. Demonstrated clinical assessment skills and an ability to develop accurate and effective treatment plans. At least two years of relevant clinical experience working with diverse client populations. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues. Ability to work autonomously while also functioning effectively within a team environment. Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in all aspects of practice. Preferred Experience Experience within a clinical setting where therapy is provided through telehealth platforms. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and remote patient management tools. Background in working with varied psychological issues including but not limited to trauma-informed care, substance abuse, and family dynamics. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
