Description: Emergency Room Nights Start date: 3-4 weeks per compliance tier, biweekly starts Ratios: 1:3 Years of experience REQ: 2 years required First-timers accepted: Y Weekend REQ: Every other Certs REQ: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, NIH required. CPI, TNCC preferred. RQI cards are not acceptable. Is on-call REQ? N Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? May float between Belleville and East as well as inpatient floors if needed. Open to accommodating block schedule? N Locals accepted: Yes - if within 75 mile radius there is a local rate. Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: 7 days within 13 week contract Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week for 3-12s 48 hours per week for 4-12s Special Requirements: Insertion of central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, post cardiac arrest hypothermia, intubations, code strokes, code stemi's, code blue team, trauma patient's, pediatric patient's and transfers, sexual assaults, mental health patients board until we can find appropriate placement.

Special Equipment: rapid infuser, hypothermia, glidescope, bedside cardiac monitoring, ultrasound, infant warmer.

Compliance Deadlines/Requirements

Compliance deadline is 3pm CST on the Monday of the week before initial start date. Fit testing: *Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper testing or will be expected to shave. No exceptions Certifications: For Barnes-Jewish Hospital location only: ACLS Required All RNs (except Behavioral Health, Case Manager & Outpatient) are required to obtain ACLS by compliance hard document deadline. Certifications not required at time of submittal unless otherwise noted in the job description. Labs: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing Modules: Modules are billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr. Modules are completed pre-start, they are required for RNs and LVS and do not differ per specialty Modules are completed through WorkRamp and uploaded to compliance report Modules should be started within 1 week of signed contract, and MUST be completed 2 Fridays prior to the start date to avoid a delay in starting

Contract Details: Confirm shift in submittal (e.g., 3x12, 4x12, etc.). Please note, contract length is firm. Booking Rules: BJC does not permit contractors to sign a contract and subsequently cancel it in order to accept another BJC assignment. Contractors are expected to fulfill the terms of their signed agreement in full. Mid-contract cancellations for the purpose of booking a different BJC assignment are not allowed. If a contract is canceled at the contractor’s discretion, they must complete an assignment elsewhere before being considered for a new BJC opportunity.
