Customer Logistics Manager - Dedicated Transportation

Job Summary The Manager, Customer Logistics will oversee the day‑to‑day operations within an assigned function, and is responsible for all aspects of Operations and Account Management. Key duties include leadership of direct reports and attainment of daily operational goals. Key Responsibilities Customer service satisfaction and expectation management Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non‑exempt employees Manage day‑to‑day planning and scheduling Health and safety management Compliance with State, Local, and Federal regulations Perform other duties as assigned Skills & Abilities Must work within international functional teams High level analytical ability for complex problems Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job‑related area Off‑shift support in event of critical customer network disruption or crisis Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels Work independently and as part of a team High flexibility and self‑drive in fast‑paced environment Multi‑tasking, highly organized, excellent time‑management skills Detail oriented, strong follow‑up practices Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Advanced logistics industry knowledge Advanced knowledge of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations Intermediate fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components Advanced knowledge of Manufacturing and Production Qualifications H.S. diploma/GED required Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred 2+ years relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field 1+ year direct supervisory/leadership experience Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Advanced logistics industry knowledge Advanced knowledge of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations Intermediate fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components Advanced knowledge of Manufacturing and Production Benefits Comprehensive training and ongoing professional development Access to regional and local Ryder resources Company stability within a Fortune 500 organization with 85+ years of experience Additional day of paid time off for military veterans Compensation Pay Type: Salary. Annual base salary ranges between $65,000 and $70,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Eligibility for annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on level and type.
