Work Environment

This full-time position entails an onsite work setting at our state-of-the-art surgical center. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments by gathering detailed medical histories and performing thorough physical examinations to ensure precise diagnosis and effective treatment plans.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to design and implement patient care strategies that integrate various health disciplines.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, making informed clinical decisions based on the results, and formulating individualized treatment plans to address specific health concerns.
• Administering vaccinations and medications, while also providing education to patients regarding preventive health measures and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term well-being.
• Monitoring and managing chronic conditions effectively, including coordinating referrals to specialty care when further intervention is necessary.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters using the EPIC EMR system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal standards.
• Participating actively in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the overall betterment of practice standards and patient care delivery.
• Building compassionate and patient-centered relationships with patients and their families to foster a supportive healing environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current PA Certification and an active state license in New York.

Compensation and Benefits
