Special Education Teacher

Special Education Teacher AB Staffing is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for the 2025/2026 school year. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university Valid Texas Generalist/Core content Teaching Certification with required endorsements or training for relevant subject and level (preferred) Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification 1 year of successful Special Education teaching experience in a K-12 school (preferred) Knowledge of core academic subjects, curriculum, and classroom management Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations affecting special education Knowledge of current special education practices and methodologies Proficiency in educational technology applications Job Description: Caseload and classroom details vary based on school location, which recruitment specialists will discuss upon application Openings in Elementary, Middle, and High School Contract through the 2025/2026 school year – 24 hours per week Follows the academic district calendar Responsibilities: Create engaging learning environments Provide personalized support to students Implement curriculum goals Evaluate student progress Model good behavior and uphold values Salary: $75/hr to $80/hr, paid weekly ($1,800 to $1,920) Why choose AB Staffing?
