Event Security Supervisor (Temporary)

We seek an experienced Incident Commander Supervisor with high integrity and professionalism who can join our team here in the Bay Area. You will be working on uniquely assigned projects under the guidance of the Area Manager. In your day to day role as an Incident Commander Supervisor, you will be acting as a liaison between Surefox and its Clients while providing professional security guarding services with the goal of protecting Client personnel and property as well as deterrence and emergency response.You will perform all duties in accordance with Surefox and Client policies and procedures, and all state & federal regulations. Other responsibilities include responding to emergency events, medical & non-medical issues, staffing deficiencies, and handling Client requests in a timely manner. Under certain circumstances, an Incident Commander Supervisor will be expected to initiate preliminary investigations by writing incident reports on all internal Client and company issues. We are looking for someone who has exceptional observational skills and pays close attention to detail as well as being highly dependable.As we encourage veterans and candidates that are currently in the military reserve to apply, we welcome all who share the same passions for protection as we do. We are not offering visa sponsorship for this position at this time.Hourly Rate - $35.00 - $37.50Working Schedule: 9/20/26 - 10/1/26 (temp offer dates) - Monday through Sunday 24/7 coverageWhat You Will DoLead and Manage TeamConduct briefings and debriefings for security officersCoordinate with other supervisors to ensure consistent information flow between supervisors & the security teamDisseminate any information pertinent to either Surefox or Client operationsOversee scheduling, performance management, and policy compliance for security officersManage timekeeping and leave requests utilizing the company Timekeeping systemsEnsure team members have access to, understand, and are properly utilizing their Timekeeping systemsEnsure officers have access to necessary resources (equipment, post orders, SOPs) to perform dutiesConduct daily inspections of security equipment and ensure the correct equipment is signed in & out by the security officersCoordinate deployment changes to optimize security coverage when short of personnelDocument & escalate any security posture changes as directedEnsure security team is in compliance with required Client or Surefox internal policiesBe familiar with and enforce all required rest & meal breaks in accordance with California labor lawsAddress cross-departmental employee concerns and escalate as needed (payroll, scheduling, leave, harassment/bullying, uniform discrepancies, etc)General Security & OperationsConduct patrols, monitor access, deter unauthorized entry, and enforce security measuresCollaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC)Respond to emergencies and secure scenesInvestigate incidents and report suspicious activityVerify identification and control accessDocument security events and activitiesPerform light front desk duties and provide a welcoming environmentBuild rapport and collaborate with various teams and stakeholdersProactively de-escalate situations and address concerns professionallyWork independently and adapt to varying work pacesWhat is RequiredMust be eligible for employment within the United StatesMust be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelinesMust be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening (Surefox will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all requirements of State and local laws, regulations or codes)Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocateMust have a current BSIS guard card or be eligible to qualify for a guard cardMust have a high school degree or equivalentMust have a current CPR & First Aid certification or be eligible to qualify for a certificationDemonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergenciesAbility to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgroundsGood judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisionsAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to work independently and as a team memberMust be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of timeAbility to climb stairs and laddersWhat is PreferredMilitary background strongly preferredSecurity or law enforcement experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office & G-Suite ApplicationsReport writing experienceAssociate’s degree or equivalent experienceIf you share our values and are ready to build your next career, we want to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr Surefox North America Inc
