Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments, evaluations, and individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances and mental health challenges.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, family engagements, and individual counseling, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, attending regular meetings to discuss client progress and implement new strategies.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and regulations, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client records.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and training to remain current with advancements in mental health treatment and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will primarily consist of individuals and families facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. You will play a pivotal role in helping these clients navigate their challenges, providing therapeutic support aligned with their personal and cultural needs. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; however, advanced degrees (Master's or Doctoral) are preferred and will significantly enhance your candidacy.

• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Connecticut is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, showcasing a solid grasp of therapeutic modalities and client management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, based on experience and caseload capacity. In addition to a rewarding pay structure, employed LPCs receive an extensive benefits package, including access to health, dental, and vision insurance. You will also be provided with malpractice insurance and support with billing and documentation to reduce your administrative burden.
