Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans based on each client's unique needs and concerns.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused approaches.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, creating a supportive atmosphere that encourages open communication.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care that maximizes treatment outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards, while also participating in ongoing training to stay current in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients battling various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to substance misuse and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut is essential.

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably within a clinical context, is necessary.

• Strong familiarity with legal and ethical standards in counseling practice.
