This technician will assist in support with customers, and the other mechanicals for all daily operations. Responsible for supporting and maintaining the GMP clinical/commercial manufacturing and facility process equipment, Pilot Plant and QC laboratory equipment. Respond to utility and equipment related alarms, and maintenance issues during manufacturing campaigns.A Day in the Life:Support and maintain GMP clinical and commercial manufacturing process equipment, facility systems, pilot plant equipment, and QC laboratory equipmentRespond to utility and equipment alarms and troubleshoot maintenance issues during manufacturing campaignsPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment including bioreactors, mixers, centrifuges, tangential flow filtration (TFF) systems, refrigerators, freezers, incubators, and stability chambersSupport utility systems and facility operations within a regulated manufacturing environmentIdentify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, operational performance, and regulatory complianceMaintain accurate maintenance documentation and follow established procedures and SOPsParticipate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 maintenance support as requiredCollaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and facilities teams to support operational goalsKeys to Success:Education: High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, Trade Licensure, or equivalent requiredExperience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory, or related environment required Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferred Direct experience supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing processes within an FDA and/or EMA regulated environment preferred Experience working in a cleanroom environment preferred Prior experience as a GMP Maintenance Technician preferredKnowledge, Skills, Abilities: Direct experience supporting utility systems within a regulated industry Knowledge of GMP regulations and experience working within an SOP-driven environment Training and experience with formal problem-solving methodologies Strong computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management systems Experience with Single Use Technologies (SUBs and SUMs) preferred Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) preferred Ability to aseptically gown and/or sterile gown as required Excellent oral and written communication skillsPhysical Requirements / Work Environment:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to a height of 4 feetAbility to work in manufacturing, laboratory, and cleanroom environments as requiredAbility to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and sterile gowning when necessaryParticipation in an on-call rotation to provide off-hours supportWhat We Offer:Compensation:Competitive hourly payAnnual performance-based bonusAnnual merit performance-based increaseExcellent Benefits:Medical, Dental, & Vision benefits effective Day 1Paid Time Off & designated paid holidays401(k)Tuition reimbursementEmployee referral bonusCareer advancement opportunitiesCompensation and Benefits: The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $24.00–$36.25.
