The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant In Room Dining Manager to join our team as we reopen the Food & Beverage Division within the hotel. Responsibilities The Assistant In Room Dining Manager assists the In Room Dining Manager in ensuring the successful performance of the In Room Dining, Minibar, and Cashier's departments, supervising the daily operation of all three departments. Required Skills Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring quality, standards, and meeting customer expectations. Exhibit knowledge and strictly abide by state liquor regulations. Provide feedback on staff performance to the Manager, report disciplinary problems, and participate in employee counseling. Constantly monitor staff performance in all phases of service and job functions, rectifying deficiencies with personnel. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent. Three years in ultra-luxury operations, with at least one year in IRD capacity preferably in a union environment. Thorough knowledge of food, beverage, and 5-star (Forbes) standards. Strong command of spoken and written English with fluency in other languages preferred. Excellent interpersonal relationships, positive attitude, and ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
