CT Technologist

We are looking for a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. This position focuses on providing high-quality CT imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Shift Details

• Shift: Evenings
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 2:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT scans, including angiography and basic procedures, utilizing Philips 64-slice CT technology.
• Handle 10-15 cases per day, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Assist with X-ray needs as necessary, particularly in the operating room.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols during procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CT technology.
• Required certifications: BLS Certification and ARRT (CT).
• Must be autonomous and proficient in CT scanning techniques, with the ability to work independently as the primary CT/XR tech on-site.
• Willingness to re-learn X-ray procedures if necessary.

Unit Information

• EMR: Cerner
• Pharmacy: Available 24/7 with specific hours for direct access.
• Orientation: 1-2 shifts with a preceptor for floor-specific training.
• Holidays: Staff are expected to work on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Additional Notes

The successful candidate will be confident in their skills and able to work with limited resources. This role may require flexibility and adaptability in performing various radiologic procedures.
