Sales and Service Associate

Location: 21560 Valley Blvd, City of Industry, CA 91789 Job Summary This role focuses on welcoming new members and guiding them through the start of their fitness journey. The position requires building genuine, trust‑based relationships by actively listening to members’ goals, understanding their unique needs, and recommending personalized solutions that support their overall fitness success. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Develop first‑name relationships with members, answer questions, resolve concerns, and connect both members and guests with appropriate resources. Assist in maintaining a clean, well‑maintained, and safe gym environment for members and guests. Deliver an outstanding sales and service experience to all guests and members, ensuring a welcoming, informative, and inclusive environment that inspires them to pursue their fitness goals. Provide a strong new member onboarding experience, greeting them at check‑in and promptly addressing their needs to create a sense of belonging. Qualifications Demonstrate authenticity, sincerity, and open‑mindedness; act with integrity. Be self‑motivated and passionate about helping others, with a genuine interest in learning and personal growth. Strive to excel and consistently meet or exceed goals while maintaining a positive, can‑do attitude. Embrace challenges and view setbacks as opportunities for growth. Possess a strong service mentality and a desire to deliver exceptional member experiences. Minimum of one year of experience in retail or fitness sales. CPR and AED certification required within 60 days of employment. Availability Full-time, with flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Travel Requirement Minimum travel may be required for training and lead generation. Variable Compensation Team members are eligible to participate in 24 Hour Fitness’s Fitness Sales and Membership Sales Commission Plans, which reward exceptional service and incentivize success.
