Take the opportunity to make a strong impact as a Physical Therapist supporting students in a vibrant urban school setting near Chester, PA. This full-time, contract-based role offers a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, running through June 10, 2027. You'll work onsite exclusively, collaborating directly with students, staff, and families to help K-12 learners with diverse and meaningful needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and intellectual disabilities (ID).

This position features a small, manageable caseload with low incidental classroom requirements, allowing you to provide focused care and support. As an integral part of the educational community, you’ll foster developmental growth, functional mobility, and inclusion for students who thrive on your expertise.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania (PA) Physical Therapist license/certification required
• Demonstrated school-based experience necessary
• Comfortable providing services in an urban school environment
• Previous work with ASD and ID populations highly valued
• Willingness to obtain all required PA clearances
• Must be able to disclose the school district name to interested candidates
• Prepared to engage in a Zoom interview as part of the selection process

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver goal-oriented PT interventions for students ranging from kindergarten through high school
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Complete timely documentation and progress reports
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Support students in accessing their educational environment and curriculum
