Operations Manager

We are looking for an ManufacturingManager based in Alpharetta, Georgia, to oversee daily operations across manufacturing, supply chain, planning, and fulfillment in a rapidly growing environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who brings strong operational discipline, anticipates issues before they arise, and uses high-level critical thinking to solve complex workflow challenges. The ideal candidate takes an ownership approach of operational outcomes, balances strategic planning with day-to-day execution, and drives continuous performance improvement. Working closely with leadership, this role manages production schedules, controls operational costs, and builds scalable planning frameworks to support company growth. Key Responsibilities Strategic Execution & Daily Operations Manage production scheduling and performance. Lead daily reviews to drive performance, operational accountability, and cross-functional alignment. Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing priority setting, project planning, execution, and proactive bottleneck anticipation and prevention. Conduct root-cause efficiency and defect rate analyses to build preventative quality measures. Lead and develop operations team members, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards. Cost Control & Resource Management Maintain strict cost controls across labor, facility, and material expenses. Manage asset capacity to meet the yearly production plan. Strategic Planning & Capacity Management Apply critical thinking to perform monthly and weekly manpower planning aligned with business targets and production goals. Develop monthly and weekly production capacity models to support operational scale. Lead monthly inventory management and reconciliation to ensure physical on-hand stock aligns with production and master schedules. Qualifications 5-10 years of progressive manufacturingleadership experience, preferably in a fast-paced or scaling manufacturing/fulfillment environment. Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field. Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a track record of diagnosing complex operational bottlenecks. Proven experience in production schedule publishing, manpower modeling, and capacity planning. Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including experience building operational models and analyzing large data sets. Hands-on leadership experience in labor cost control, staffing allocation, and performance metrics tracking. Strong inventory control skills, including monthly reconciliations and standard cost tracking.
