Infectious Disease Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) - Edmonds, WASchedule: 5x8hr, 0830-1700 (Monday - Friday // OFF WEEKENDS)Experience: 6 months of experience working as an MA-C in an adult outpatient clinic settingSkills Required:VITAL SIGNS (Height/Weight, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Obtain Vital Signs, Pulse Oximetry, Vision testing)PREPARE FOR EXAM (Positioning/Draping, Record History/Medications/Allergies)SET UP & ASSIST WITH PROCEDURES (Dressing Change, Pap Smear, Set up aseptic / sterile procedure trays)INJECTIONS (Immunizations, Intradermal, Intramuscular)SPECIMEN COLLECTION (Labeling of specimens, Sputum, Stool, Throat, Urine - UA/Clean Catch, Vaginal, Wound)LABORATORY TESTS (Strep, Urine Dipstick/Urinalysis)OFFICE DUTIES (Authorization Forms, Chart Preparation, Insurance Verification, Ordering supplies, Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, Scheduling appointments, Stocking Supplies, Telephone Triage)PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE (Administering Medication, Administration of TB Test, Aseptic Technique, Follow up phone calls, Review Lab Tests, Rooming, Patients, Suture Removal, Wound care)Certs REQ: BLSLicense REQ: MA-CFirst-timers accepted: YesWeekend REQ: NoIs on-call REQ?
