Administrative Fellowship - Operations

This job rotates through various aspects of the organization’s administration, exposing Fellows to a range of entities including hospitals, clinics, business development, strategic operations, and corporate offices. Fellows participate in broad, hands‑on experiences and projects designed to cultivate competencies critical to healthcare leadership, applying theories and skills learned in a graduate program in business or health care administration. Job Duties Execute projects and initiatives. Engage in professional and career development. Communicate with and present plans/projects to team members. Collaborate with company executives and key stakeholders. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications Master’s degree in healthcare/business administration, public health, health services administration, or a related healthcare field. Experience in hospital operations or an administrative internship. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic knowledge of hospital operations. Ability to define project objectives, identify stakeholders, plan steps, and allocate resources to achieve objectives efficiently. Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varied audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills. Strong presentation, leadership, and judgment skills. Basic project‑management skills. Physical and Environmental Demands Sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 10 pounds. Regular walking or standing for brief periods. No routine exposure to blood, body fluids, or hazardous medications; risk of exposure to hazardous waste if involved in related tasks. Compliance Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations, and standards.
