The Marketing Specialist will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing
Job Overview
Summary/Objective:
Oman Systems, Inc. is seeking a motivated, self-driven individual for the role of Marketing Specialist to help our customer base, brand awareness and overall presence in the heavy civil construction software industry. The Marketing Specialist will bring a creative and innovative approach to all marketing channels while working closely with the sales team to enhance reach and penetration into the marketplace.
Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Essential Functions:
- Campaign Development: Work with the sales and marketing team to design and implement campaigns that drive sales and amplify brand awareness across various multimedia platforms.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to understand trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to amplify our sales strategies.
- Manage social media accounts
- Assist in planning and execution of industry tradeshow, events and networking opportunities with the Vice President of Sales and the Sales Team.
- Develop targeted campaigns in the different sales territories across the United States
- Assist Territory Sales Managers to develop marketing materials and email campaigns to their assigned territories.
- Maintain company website and SEO optimization
- Work with existing advertising placements and identify new opportunities
- Craft compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns, social media)
Travel Requirements:
· Travel requirements for this position are minimal, but there could be some occasional travel outside of the Nashville area.
Education:
- BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication and time management skills
- The ability to work independently as well as in a group environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Civil construction industry knowledge a plus
- HubSpot experience preferred
- 1-4 years of experience with Adobe suite and other design/creative platforms
- 1-4 years of experience managing professional social media accounts and campaigns
