If you are passionate about justice, possess strong analytical skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct research on case law, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents to support litigation strategyPrepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and persuasive arguments; strong analytical skills are essential.Prepare and respond to interrogatories, disclosures, depositions, document production and related tasks.Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials; assist senior attorneys in trial preparation.Proficiency in communicating in a clear, logical manner with clients, agencies, courts, and opposing counsel. Provide updates, gather information, and advise clients on legal rights and case strategy.Ability to analyze case law, statutes, and facts to support strategic decisions.Other duties as assignedRequirementsJuris Doctor from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in Arizona, and in good standing.0-3 Years of litigation experience.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge in insurance defense, municipal litigation, and commercial litigation preferred.Working Conditions:The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (typical office or administrative work).Physical Requirements:Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
