Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, laying the groundwork for effective treatment.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their unique goals, requirements, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders and relationship challenges.

• Educate clients and their families on the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices to encourage resilience and empowerment.

• Monitor client progress regularly, ensuring treatment plans are adjusted based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to integrate care and provide comprehensive support to clients.

You will primarily engage with clients dealing with mood disorders, relationship issues, and those seeking divorce and relationship counseling. Qualifications\n

• A current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
