Controller

What\'ll Do We are a well established CPA firm in Hackensack, NJ with a team of about 10 professionals. We\'re looking for a Controller who can own our day to day financial operations and also help manage the administrative side of the office. Accounting and Finance Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments Process payroll and make sure it\'s accurate and on time every cycle Keep the firm\'s books current and reconcile accounts regularly Prepare financial reports for ownership as needed Administrative and Operations Oversee administrative staff and help coordinate day to day office operations Manage the firm\'s insurance policies, including renewals, coverage review, and working with our broker Serve as a point person for HR related administrative tasks What We\'re Looking For Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping, ideally within a professional services or CPA firm environment Comfort managing AR, AP, and payroll from start to finish Experience supervising staff or willing to step into that role Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle finance work with office management duties CPA or accounting degree is a plus but not required for this role What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience A small, collaborative team environment where you\'ll have direct visibility into the firm\'s operations Stability and long term opportunity with a well established local firm #J-18808-Ljbffr RecruitHook
