Family Nurse Practitioner

Overview Fast Pace Health is looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner who will deliver high quality care within the scope of services and achieve optimum patient satisfaction. The Provider will work in a team‑oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols, and provide outstanding patient service in the clinic and via virtual communication channels. Responsibilities Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals for tele and in‑patient care. Lead clinic staff (X‑Ray technologists, nurses, front office specialists) in delivering excellent patient care. Provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Perform responsibilities included on the SCRIBE job description. Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications. Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Actively engage with clinical leadership and elevate issues to management to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns in line with company values. Ensure accurate completion and timely forwarding of patient charts daily. Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees. Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians. Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through inpatient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and accurate information. Conduct activities in compliance with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both inpatient clinic and virtual settings. Pursue queue of telehealth patients in a timely manner to ensure proper follow‑up. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, responsibly prescribe medications, and educate patients on ongoing treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Attest to and follow clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training. Perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols. Complete all mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed continued quality of care. Adhere to the company core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness. Recommend ideas within the clinic and to telehealth leadership to improve overall patient experience and care. Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, and provide clinic tours and process overviews. Assist new employees with learning activities and complete required training. Provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities for new employees. Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees. Perform the physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions required for the position, as specified on the physical demands. Be knowledgeable and comply with company standards of operations. Promote and maintain a respectful culture of employee, employer, and business confidentiality. Consult with patients through virtual communication channels. Perform other duties as assigned by management. PRN employees are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month. Full‑time employees are required to work 12‑hour shifts every other weekend. Responsible for on‑call duties periodically throughout the year. Qualifications Level 1: New graduate with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner. Level 2: Nurse practitioner with over 1 year of experience and less than 5 years of experience. Level 3: Nurse practitioner with over 5 years of experience and less than 10 years of experience. Level 4: Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience. Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN). Experience: At least 1–2 years as a provider in a relevant practice (urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER or trauma unit, family medical practice). Current license: Family Nurse Practitioner license active and in good standing; DEA required for all providers, to be obtained within 120 days of meeting minimum years of practice if not already active. DOT certification required for full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment and maintained during employment. Telehealth experience preferred. Knowledge of company standard procedures, compliance, and federal and state regulations.
