Safety Supervisor

3310 Concord Road, Lafayette, IN, United States | Lafayette, IN | Hourly | 20-23 per hour | Full Time

The Kelly Group is seeking a Safety Supervisor for its Lafayette, Indiana, location. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of construction-related or manufacturing-related safety experience.

This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties:

• Conduct regular fabrication facility safety inspections, audits and hazard assessments

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, company and customer safety requirements

• Administer various safety programs, including job hazard assessments, observation reports and audits

• Investigate near miss, first aid, injury and property damage incidents

• Serve as a point of contact for fabrication facility employees regarding safety concerns

• Complete safety equipment inspections

• Assist with and/or conduct safety training and meetings

• Perform basic computer skills

Other preferred qualifications sought include:

• OSHA Construction/General Industry Outreach Trainer certification

• First Aid/CPR certification

• Bilingual - English/Spanish
